Images and JavaScript issues after upgrading CRM 3.0 to 4.0

I have just upgraded our Microsoft Dynamics CRM Installation from 3.0 to 4.0. I postponed (the release was around December 2007) that because of errors in the setup package. I was very happy that those issues are fixed now.

The upgrade steps can be seen in brief here:

One of the steps you should care more is the Reporting Server configuration step:

Because in the 3.0 version the SQL Server Reporting Services was 2000 now it is 2005.

Now, The reason for this post is that after successful installation and restart I have tried to start using CRM 4.0. But there were failing scripts and no images showing. So the solutions is :

1.To check anonymous access in the directory security tab of the CRM Web Site in IIS.

2. Then click OK and Apply.

3. Then go again there and uncheck the anonymous option.

That’s it – now it works perfect.
